As we’ve been developing cloud-computing technology now for the better part of the past four years, we’ve heard a consistent refrain from many of our customers.
“Preserving Data In The Cloud Is A Problem”
Our customers have been telling us with great passion and concern about regulatory, compliance, and preservation concerns around data in the cloud. Much has been said and is being written about these challenges, but the rough outlines are clear.
Relevant data in the cloud needs to be preserved.
You Can Preserve Using The Cloud
Nextpoint is excited to announce that our newest product Cloud Preservation™ is now in its public Beta release. You can find it here cloudpreservation.com, please sign up for a 30 day no-risk trial and give it a whirl!
Within a few minutes of signing up, you can start adding feeds to archive your websites, Twitter pages, or Facebook Fan Pages. The approach is to use the cloud via an on-demand, SaaS model to schedule periodic crawling, indexing and archival of websites and social media properties. The archived materials are preserved as high-quality images and source code, as well as indexing the underlying content and providing many of the tagging and export functions associated with discovery-related work flows.
We’d be thrilled to get your thoughts and reactions during our public beta on what we believe is a category-defining new product. Let us know how you like it. The response has been enthusiastic response during our private beta, and have already learned a lot about how and why users are seeking to gain control of and preserve data in the cloud. We’d be honored if you joined this conversation with us!
We are committed at Nextpoint to bringing the forefront of cloud computing technologies to the legal industry, and were honored to have been recognized as one of the AlwaysOn Top 100 OnDemand companies, as well as the category winner for Vertical Applications (scroll to the bottom!).
We want to thank our customers for their support and passion for innovation – it’s what takes us in exciting new directions like this and we look forward to continuing the journey with you.
